Clatsop County Master Gardeners Association
The Clatsop County Master Gardener Association (CCMGA) ispart of the Oregon Master Gardener Association, a state-wide non-profit organization. Anyone who has completed the Master Gardener training program and who wishes to join is encouraged to participate.
The Master Gardenerprogram is an Oregon State University Extension Serviceprogram that helps Oregon gardeners learn more about the art and science of growing and caring for plants. It also enables these trained volunteers to extend sustainable gardening information to their communities through educational outreach programs.
Master Gardenersare trained volunteers who offer the local community Reliable, Relevant and Reachable gardening information and education opportunities.
"Bee One in a Million! The Million Pollinator Garden Challenge (MPGC) is a nationwide call to action to preserve and create gardens and landscapes that help revive the health of bees, butterflies, birds, bats and other pollinators across America. We will move millions of individuals, kids and families outdoors and make a connection between pollinators and the healthy food people eat".
